Fast Eddie

Fast Eddie quite simply defy standard genre labels in a spectacular fashion, leading some fans to include them in the circus metal' movement, they are certainly entertaining .

Vicki:At present the ‘Circus metal’ label encompasses bands as broad as Lollipop Lust Kill, Insane Clown Posse, and Mr Bungle, is it still a relevant descriptive term or more a broad banding together of music from vaguely likeminded individuals?

Greg:To Us, our music is a melting pot of any genre that we at the time enjoy or gravitate to, it could be anything from swing to pop to death metal. The Circus has no musical influence on us, at least till this point.

Vicki:What are your personal influences?

Greg:Pepsi, Skittles, Fresca, The Beatles & Tom Waits

Vicki:Care to recommend a book?

Greg:The Quiet Room & Dante’s Inferno

Vicki:What inspired ‘Frogs’?

Greg: The video game Frogger

Vicki:Given the choice would you rather have a devoted underground following or 15 minutes of fame?

Greg:. A devoted underground following

Vicki:What is your favourite TV detective series?

Greg:Cop Rock ( Police w/ pizzazz)

Vicki:For those unfortunates outside of the US is a typical Fast Eddie show as insane as the pictures on the site promise?

Greg:Fund our European tour & you will find out!

Vicki:If you could be any origami animal what would you be?

Greg:Together we form the Origami Jackalope

Vicki:Have KISS set a bad precedent for bands in face paint in recent years?

Greg:. “Kiss My Ass” is a horrible record

Vicki:Have you ever read 'Mr Virtigo' by Paul Ayster?

Greg:Have you ever stuck your dick in a bottle of whiskey to try and disinfect yourself after a rough night? I hear it cures the AidsCancer

Vicki:What does the future hold for Fast Eddie?

Greg:'Teen Sensation', our new album will be out Late April/ Early May via Skinlifter Records. We will be out on a 1 week tour in June in the US. Go check out EddieIsFast.com for all the latest madness! And thanks for chat!
